Why Light of Day Exists

There are already a lot of tarot apps out there, but none of them quite fit what I needed.

At first, I realized I had a very hard time facing the possibility of things being out of my control. Over time, I started to notice that writing things down, putting them into words, and receiving some kind of response helped me a lot.

A single card can sometimes feel like a small reminder.

Maybe this is what I am really afraid of.

Maybe this is the thing I have been avoiding.

Maybe there has been a small voice inside me all along, and I just could not hear it before.

So I wanted Light of Day to feel a little like a hollow in a tree, and a little like a journal.

You can simply draw a card.

Or, if you are like me, you can use it to look for a bit of order and resonance in the middle of nowhere.

This is still a very early version. The project has no moat, and it would not be hard to recreate.

But I made it for myself first.

And maybe, just maybe, it can also help someone like you, trying to survive in the machinery of the world.
